At Mivan we prioritise sustainability and have set an ambitious goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2035. To reach our sustainability targets, we have adopted new procedures, policies, and innovative technologies, as well as investment of £1M towards new machinery.

These strategic decisions aim to improve our sustainable manufacturing and outfitting processes whilst helping lower our overall carbon footprint. Interior and Exterior Refit, Refurbishment and Revitalisation

Mivan are the leading specialists in ship refurbishment, refit and revitalisation. Our experience spans all sectors of a ship, from Public Spaces, Guest Cabins & Suites, Retail, Crew Areas, Lido Areas, Pool and Bar Areas.

The extensive scope of Mivan's expertise enables us to effectively manage, interior fit-outs for public areas and cabins, steelwork modifications and upgrades, enhancements to on-board electrical and mechanical services, alterations to area classifications and layouts, installation of galley facilities, coordination with key sub-contractors and manufacture & installation of all bespoke joinery, finishes, ceiling features and seating.

New Build Outfitting

Mivan is an exceptional partner and collaborator throughout all phases of a New Build project. We pride ourselves in working hand in hand with Cruise Liners, Shipyards, Architects and Interior Designers to deliver High-End Interiors that transform designers' visions into a reality.

Our in-house 3D Design teams employ cutting-edge 3D modelling and design software, to collaborate with the Clients Teams software seamlessly. From concept to manufacture to install, we ensure that our clients are involved every step of the way. Our expertise in selecting materials and construction methods suited for marine environments and international regulations, are well-recognized in the industry. In House 2D & 3D Design

Mivan offers a wide range of in-house design services, backed by a team of over 20 skilled CAD technicians who specialize in both 2D & 3D modelling. Our in-house expertise allows us to tackle complex projects and deliver innovative, workable solutions, complete with detailed design and specifications that are necessary.

Upgrading our 2D CAD software to the 3D Inventor software was a strategic decision aimed at unleashing the full potential of our design capabilities, leveraging innovative technology, and streamlining our manufacturing processes.

Bespoke Joinery

Mivan's 110,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is equipped with the very latest design and manufacturing technology. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, along with the finest materials to achieve exceptional results that would exceed the highest standards.

Mivan's facilities boast cutting-edge technology in every department. The Wood Machine Shop features high-speed moulders, computerized beam saws, and advanced 5-axis CNC machines. Our Spray Shop combines traditional and modern techniques with the latest in spray line technology. Our Skilled Team in our Assembly Shop ensures components meet our strict quality standards before dispatch. Our Metal Works Department excels in metal forming and welding, blending modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship.
