MIVAN ATTENDS SUCCESSFUL CRUISE SHIP INTERIORS DESIGN EXPO

Mivan, the leading marine out fitting specialist, spent two successful days and three eventful nights at Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI) Design Expo in Miami.

Mivan’s team of experts, John Cunningham, James Gilmore and Shorlagh McConville were joined by MJM Marine to greet many current valued clients and meet prospective new customers. The annual event provides the opportunity for the cruise ship interiors community to gather, share knowledge and expertise throughout the industry.

On the final day the Mivan and MJM stand hosted a discussion titled, Marine Design 101: In conversation with cruise interior design masters, George Scammel Director of Interior Design & Operations for Holland America Line, serving Princess Cruises, Willie Trager Interior Asset Management at Holland America Group, and Anne Mari Gulikstad, CEO, Senior Interior Architect and Partner of YSA Design. The discussion was very well attended with many contributors adding a different perspective.

John Cunningham commented, “Another great event from Cruise Ship Interiors and one which we always meet new people but also cement our relationships with current clients. The discussion hosted was very informative and most pleasing, very well attended. We look forward to next year with great anticipation and hope the projections for the industry are exceeded.”
