Mivan works closely with local schools and colleges to support careers events and work experience opportunities because we recognise that this provides an invaluable experience at an early stage to assist with education and career choices.

We offer work experience in all areas of the business although the most popular are design, joinery, commercial and administration. Please contact us to discuss work experience possibilities.

Support your studies with valuable, hands-on experience and an insight into the world of work. Year-out and summer placements are an excellent way to gain industry experience and find out what a career in Mivan is all about.

We offer undergraduates the opportunity to spend a year or a summer with us assisting a number of our teams including design, production, quantity surveying, estimating or project management. Also school leavers may wish to spend a summer with us before choosing a career route. Whether it is assisting in the Factory to help decide if a Joinery Apprenticeship is right for you or joining our operations, design, support or admin teams to gain some valuable experience and insight we have plenty of options available.

Our students benefit from skills development, personal growth and a vastly increased knowledge of the working environment and career options. If we are impressed with your performance during your placement we may be in a position to invite you back as a Graduate and sponsor your final year of studies.

As a Graduate Navigator you will benefit from a structured 2-year training programme which offers a clear pathway into your chosen career. You will be supported by experienced mentors who will guide you through your personal and professional development and you will build a track record of experience and achievement working on diverse, challenging and prestigious projects.

We offer graduate opportunities in a range of disciplines: Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Site / Construction Management, Design and Production Management. Graduate and Trainee opportunities are usually advertised between September and December each year.
