TEAM MIVAN TAKE ON THE BELFAST CITY MARATHON

On the 7th May 2018, 4 teams from Mivan joined over 17,500 runners on the streets of Belfast as they took part in the Deep River Rock Belfast City Marathon. A record number of entrants took part this May Day Bank holiday, running in temperatures that reached a staggering 22ºC.

The Belfast City Marathon is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland, starting at the City Hall and finishing at Ormeau Park.

Mivan had a total of 20 employees participating, making up 4 relay teams, to raise funds for their 2018 charity partner CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. A JustGiving page was set up which has been generously supported – reaching 174% of their target.
